this week i was busy with some long-overdue projects. aida asked me to do the finishing touch for the growth chart that she and few other stitching friends stitched for aida's daughter, Ainul. the fabrics are personally chosen by aida and i like them so much - the prints & the colour way. I was actually sitting on the this project for so long due to some unforeseen circumstances.

I'm really glad though. this is b'coz after the hiccups, i re-designed and it turned out better than i originally planned. the back is lined voile but aida can still continue stitching the updates on the growth chart by flipping the voile lining.

i also managed the sew the curtain for the 3 little princesses in the house. i really love the print - polka dots & balls. m thinking of lollipops every time i look at it. mmmm.

and yesterday, i did the re-upholstery work for our dining chairs. thanks to my hubby for being my extra hand.
original cover when we bought the set in 2003
1st re-upholstery fabric - the cover that we used for almost 2 years before upholstering once again. i'm telling you, it looks 3 times worse than this picture ;-P

currently using this cover - damask, golden curtain material. way much cheaper than the golden vines on yellow background fabric that we used before
