LHC Anniversary

My first posting in this blog was 2 years ago, rambling about needlecraft. Back then I wasn't so sure of what to write. Simply wanted to share my passion for needlecraft with needlecraft enthusiasts around the world and as well as my family and friends.

I started blogging using other domains some time early 2005, and later found that Blogspot allows me to be creative. Though I'm not an IT expert, I like 'playing' with the codes and HTML lingo. During the 1st of blogging, I've done quite a lot of code changes to get more personalized blog appearance (at times, thought of moving to another domain... me fickle-minded hehehehe ). Slowly I stop playing with codes as I need more time stitching. Still, I enjoy blogging as well as blog hopping. There are lots of fun and interesting blogs that I frequently visit.

Blog Facelift in Progress

I'm in the middle of adding new look to my blog. With 3 darling princesses in the house, I will certainly need a longer period to complete the task. At least another couple of days

Blog Anniversary

Hi everyone! I'm back!

Today is my blog's 1st anniversary and I'm back to the blogging world. I wanted to blog earlier but I was down with stomach upset in the beginning of the month. I feel very healthy now and have actively stitching for the exchanges that to be mailed out on 1st April.

I've thought of stitching a memento for my blog anniversary but I'm too tied up with my kids and stitching for exchanges. Nevertheless, I've managed to upload '
step by step' photos in my PictureTrail album (initiated by an enquiry from Lee Ann in Hong Kong Thanks Ann) I had emailed to few of you regarding these photos and here I would to share them with everyone.

Please click HERE to view the photos. Enjoy and Happy Stitching to all of you. I will be back with photos of finishes and etc

A Bit of This and That

Yesterday, somehow my blog page didn't appear on the screen. Apparently, when I logged into Blogger, I saw that there was some major changes in my template which I didn't do it. I'm not sure what was wrong actually, I did emailed to Blogger support Team twice. They responded to my 1st email, and recomended some solutions. anyway, the solutions didn't seem to work. While waiting for their 2nd email, I remembered that I did save a back-up of my blog couple of weeks ago. I'm so lucky! Managed to edit my corrupted template and the blog is up again. Phewww !!!

Last week, the same thing happened to our friend's blog. We called up his wife (my friend) to check on his blog. We forgot to ask him what he did, but his blog is up again 2 days later. Lesson learnt,"always keep a back-up file for your blog", you may not know when it will be needed. Eventhough, I was not regularly back up my blog, luckily I seldom make changes changes to my template. My blog is up with a minor not-so-update info in the side bar links.

Here is the update on my hubby's golf tournament. He didn't make it to the final cut. Hard luck. After all, this was his 1st time qualified to participate in Miri Golf Club Amateur Open (to qualify, the handicap must be 12 and below). Last year, he was on the invitation - invitees played with the final-round qualifiers on the Final day of tournament. Anyway, won a golfbag for the lucky draw is not bad at all *wink*

A 'Facelift'

I've been browsing for several days last week. I saw many new blogs and existing blogs have changed their basic features/colours to more vibrant colours and nicer features. Made me feel that my basic green-coloured blog looked pretty dull.

I was thinking to make some changes to my blog, weeks ago. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do it until recently. Moreover, I'm no computer expert. It takes me some time if I wanted to do the changes : )

Finally, I managed to do some changes to my blog over the weekend. Now the theme is Bees & Sunflowers - my favourite when it comes to needlework designs. If you cannot see this new theme, you may click your 'refresh' button. Feel free to comment on this new theme. Would love to know what you like/dislike about it. Thank you very much!

Lil' Honey Collection (LHC) goes online!

Finally a blog for LHC is created after so much hesitation. Many thanks to my dear family and friends who have been giving me couragements in needlework.

Hopefully LHC Online soon will be loaded with knowledge and information in needlework . I've been needleworking since 2002 and collecting all information and sources ever since. I dedicate this blog to my stitching friends and all needlework enthusiasts out there.
